Rearranging

I have been changing things around and rearranging pictures all weekend. Here are beautiful ink drawings of my mother's childhood home and school by a very talented friend.

I have changed tired, old faded Matisse prints for charts in these frames.

New storage for CDS.

I am nearly halfway through making these granny squares.

This is the beautiful Georgian embroidery we bought recently. It amazes me that it was done so long ago. I really treasure it.

I have put all my embroideries together. I love them like this! The birdies my lovely friend bought in an antique shop for me!

My kind neighbour has helped me to be able to get my photos successfully off my camera onto the computer.

Comfortable boat

Here is Pinecone, at home in Balham, on her own patchwork quilt made of Amy Butler squares, purchased on the net, quilt made here, on Flinders Island on the other side of the world.

Travelling island style.
I do so love lilies, is this Stargazer?

I call this George Augustus Robinson's boot, found in the muttonbird rookery, Settlement Point.

Nothing bu the best will do!

Grannys chair, quilt and crochet

Here is Granny's chair, I am thinking of getting it recovered in a red/beige toile. Or even just plain Belgian linen. What do you think?

My latest crocheted squares, following Yvestown's pattern, thankyou Yvonne, I have always wanted to do one like this since first seeng yours but my crocheting skills weren't good enough to work out how do it.

I have been sewing together more of my squares today.
